Getting Ready for Primary One Chinese?

Here is for a start, for those not so 'on-the-ball' parents, or have not find time to start or for whatever reason your child has not been exposed to P1 Chinese yet.

My aim is to help these kids because mine was not exposed to any chinese characters and hanyu pinyin before start of primary one as I wanted him to enjoy his childhood. He really suffered in his first year in primary school because of my 'unselfish decision'! I did not regret, he enjoyed his childhood.
